LOCI AI is a patented hybrid architecture (Italian Patent IT 102025000030406) for personal, verifiable, and federable AI memory. Built by Nicola Marinello, independent researcher based in Italy.

## What it does
LOCI AI enables personal AI systems to remember everything about a user while keeping data sovereign, verifiable, and under the user's control. It runs on-device (local-first), uses a Sovereignty Guardian to decide what stays local vs cloud, and enforces the 4 Laws of Marinello as immutable architectural constraints.

## The 4 Laws of Marinello
- Law Zero (Cognitive Sovereignty): ETHIC memories permanently non-deletable, only GDPR override
- Law One (Permanent Identity): IDENTITY memories require force + override token
- Law Two (Historical Fidelity): SHA-256 hash chain preserved, deletion is logical only
